English for Middle and High School

Class Details

Is your child headed into a challenging year? This is the perfect class for middle or high school students who struggle with the subject with the highest jump in expectations: writing a paper. We will practice finding solid sources, writing short research papers (3 pages), and the details of formatting a Works Cited page in MLA format and APA format. This will be a fun and interactive way for your child to become a better English student and meet the expectations of a higher grade. Students will be able to choose topics that are interesting to them as well as review novels and poems that are typically taught in Tennessee schools. We are honing specific skills, so we will not assign long papers that take up most of their summer vacation. Location Options: Clarksville Montgomery County Public Library 350 Pageant Lane or Online
